Ward 3 Staff Walked Coastal Marathon

On Sunday 21st September some of the amazing staff who look after our little super heroes on Ward 3 walked a marathon along the Northumbrian coast , raising funds for the Bubble Foundation! As if they don't walk enough already!
It was chilly and windy and bright sunshine all day, what a relief as it had been torrential rain the day before. They started at 7am and finished at about 6pm in Beadnell. It was tough, especially those last few miles, but they made it! They raised over £1,200! A huge thank you to the walkers and everyone who supported them.
