Newcastle United Foundation supporting patients on Ward 3
Updated: September 11th, 2025
The Newcastle United Foundation visit the ward every week to deliver physical and mental wellbeing games and activities, encouraging patients to stay active during their treatment.
Today Paul from the foundation has been competing with Dominic in a game of indoor Curling!
Once patients are in Purple Isolation, and allowed to leave the ward, they take patients on a super exciting private, isolated stadium tour of St James' Park. This treat creates happy memories for patients, and their families, whilst navigating a long stay in hospital.Thank you so much to the Newcastle United Foundation for your visits which provide so much support, and fun, for the children and young people staying on the ward!
