Mrs. Taylor
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.In November I will be shaving my hair off in support of an amazing little girl called Autumn who will be loosing hers due to her treatment!
My hair is my crown, the way Casper spots me in a crowd and a talking point with the kids at school. But it’s the least I can do to support a very brave little girl and her family!Autumn is 3 year old. She is a little girl who talks more than me and has an awesome character! She is living with Hyperimmunoglobulin E Syndrome (HIES), also known as Job’s Syndrome — an extremely rare genetic condition with very few documented cases worldwide.
In October 2025, Autumn will be going to Newcastle Great North Children's Hospital to undergo a Stem Cell Transplant (also known as a Bone Marrow Transplant). This is a procedure to replace Autumn's damaged blood cells system with healthy ones, and involves destroying the unhealthy cells with Chemotherapy and replacing them with stem cells removed from a matching donor. Her family will be in the care of the hospital for 6 months. 3 of these in an isolation bubble. To learn more about her condition and illness click this link-https://public.tableau.com/app/profile/rob.taylor6175/viz/MeetAutumn/Autumn?fbclid=PAQ0xDSwMHNv1leHRuA2FlbQIxMAABp3JQ1iwYXmo9Tv7-y-04_afRdFrTZpFfnrtNLmVaZVkneSZEfbDg5UOcNpnk_aem_2m_U-9KEXXfqDFBH3KsO8AThere are only 2 centres in the UK & Ireland to treat these children, The Great North Hospital, Newcastle & Great Ormond Street Hospital, London.
