✨ BRUNO’S MINI NORTH RUN 🏃‍♂️

For the Bubble Foundation — Ward 3, Great North Children’s Hospital

Hi everyone!

Bruno is taking on the Mini North Run next year, and we’re raising funds for the incredible Bubble Foundation and Ward 3 at the Great North Children’s Hospital, RVI Newcastle. This wonderful ward and charity hold a very special place in our hearts.

💙 What they do:

Based on Ward 3 at the RVI, the Bubble Foundation supports babies and children born with life-threatening immune conditions. Most children here are undergoing bone marrow transplants, staying on the ward for around 5 months in special protective "bubble" beds that keep them safe.

Families travel from all over England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland — often at very short notice. They uproot their lives, leaving behind homes, jobs, partners and other children, sometimes hundreds of miles away. It’s an incredibly difficult, isolating and stressful time.

The Bubble Foundation is there every step of the way. They provide toys and equipment for the children, vital support for families, and fund life-saving research into better treatments and faster diagnosis. They make those long, hard months just that little bit easier.
