Melody's hair cut

Melody's hair cut

Melody was born with no immune system and without treatment would have died by the age of one. Melody had to receive chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant to grow a new immune system. As a result of this her hair fell out. Melody has long hair and is now wanting sponsors to have her hair cut off and she will donate her hair to the Little Princess Trust that makes wigs for children with cancer. Melody will then donate the money to two charities. One is the Wheel of Light Foundation that helps children in and around the Castleford area and secondly the Bubble Foundation which is the charity we relied on so much to accommodate us when Melody received treatment at Newcastle for six months, as it was the only place to go. Any donation will help so much please donate anything you can.

Update!

“Melody has done it she has had the chop. The JustGiving page is still open and will stay open for another couple of weeks. So far 170 pound raised for the Bubble Foundation and 170 for the Wheel of Light. It is now 8 years since Melody’s transplant and still want to help in any way we can. Doesn’t she look beautiful xxx”
