In the early 1980s the Eastside Torpedoes were one of the finest bands to come from Newcastle upon Tyne. They played all over the UK and supported luminaries such as Ray Charles and Robert Cray. They featured regularly on TV and radio. Their 1982 album ‘Coast to Coast’ was badly produced, but these superb remixes/remasters of album and live tracks will give you a flavour of how good this band was.
