Supporting a family on Ward 3

If you’re supporting someone on Ward 3, there are many practical ways you can help. This might include offering emotional support, helping with logistics, or assisting with life outside hospital such as siblings, meals, or home adjustments. Small acts of support can make a big difference during long and complex treatment journeys.

From toys and books to games and crafts - direct gifts from our specially curated Wishlist by the Play Team help make long hospital stays more comfortable. These gifts directly support children and families through play, comfort, and practical day-to-day needs and get delivered directly to the Ward.

In the Bubble, children with some of the most serious immune conditions receive the specialist care they need. Every day, families face long stays in hospital - up to 6 months at a time, life-changing treatments and the uncertainty that comes with a rare illness. Your support makes sure that alongside world-class medical care, they have the comfort, resources and hope to keep going.
