Active Advent

This year we are inviting you to join with children on Ward 3, and the staff caring for them, to take part in Active Advent! It’s designed to get our young patient’s bodies and minds active this December. When you’re confined and feeling unwell sometimes it’s hard to stay motivated to be active. We encourage staff to take part too as we know how easy it is in December to be stressed with tall the festive prep and how easy it is to keep dipping in to those festive treats that aren’t so good for us. Now you can join in too! We will mostly be following along with the ward challenges with a few variations.

How to take part:

• Check the daily Active Advent task on Facebook or Instagram.

• Post your photo / video / comment on your page and tag us this (only works if you make your post public) OR add it to comments of the daily post.

• We will throw all the completed tasks in a Christmas prize hat.

• The more challenges you take part in the more chances to win!

• You can of course take part without donating but if you’d like to be in with a chance of winning a prize , please make an Active Advent Donation to support the children and families on Ward 3 this Christmas.  

• We’ll let you know if you won at the start of January!
