Patryk
Patryk’s story, a journey defined by incredible resilience and strength.
Patryk is currently on Ward 3 for the third time, as his bone marrow transplant had to be cancelled twice before due to a virus. Fortunately, the third time was a success and everything finally went according to plan.
Patryk began his chemotherapy on March 30th, and his transplant took place on April 7th and 8th, 2026. This has been an incredibly long and difficult road for our family, especially because we had to be separated during this time, with Patryk’s Dad and sister staying behind in Ireland.
Despite all these challenges, Patryk is proving to be a super strong boy.
Today is Day 13 post-transplant, and he is absolutely full of energy and cheer. Seeing him smile and play after everything he has been through is the greatest gift we could ask for.
